Our work doesn't stop at the classroom door.

Kriti's projects extend into the communities our children come from — through language, advocacy, partnership, and care. Some run year-round. Some happen annually. Each one began with a real need, voiced by a real family.

Inclusion & Advocacy

United Steps · Annual, every April

A community walk that brings children, families, and partners together to mark Autism Awareness Month.

Project Nimto · Ongoing

'Nimto' means "invitation" in Nepali. The project opens doors for neurodiverse youth and young adults — connecting them to vocational opportunities through trusted community partnerships.

Kriti’s Voice · 2023

An animated short film, made with support from a Resolve Foundation Opportunity Fund grant, that tells the story of a girl named Kriti and invites viewers to embrace difference. Watch the film here.

Language & Literacy

Bhamra Press · Ongoing

A small publishing initiative built around children's right to literacy in their home languages. Our first Nepali title, जनवारहरू के गर्दैछन्?, follows the animals of a mighty jungle. Learn more here.

Chinese Language Immersion · Ongoing, since 2022

Chinese-language learning is shaped around the linguistic realities of Hong Kong's ethnic minority children. Through music, storytelling, and play, children naturally encounter language, supported by University students, who bring the next generation of educators alongside them.

Community & Care

Mother’s Circle · Ongoing

Mother’s Circle is a space for open conversations, mutual support, and recreation. These intentional gatherings provide a space for mothers to breathe, laugh, share, and rediscover themselves amidst the beautiful chaos of parenting.

Exhibitions· Periodic

As a Reggio-inspired space, we view children's work as serious creative output. Our exhibitions invite the wider community in to see and celebrate what the children have been making — and thinking.
