OUR WORK
What began as a 3-year youth-led voluntary initiative serving the ethnically diverse community uncovered an urgent reality: a rising number of children requiring Special Education Needs (SEN) support, faced rising numbers, limited awareness, social stigma around neurodiversity, and a severe lack of accessible resources across both public and private sectors.
Taking a leap of faith, the volunteers founded Kriti Children's Centre for Learning and Development. 'Kriti' draws from Latin and Sanskrit roots, meaning to create something from nothing’ Officially recognised as a charity in 2022, Kriti has since supported over 250 families in Hong Kong. Today, the centre serves 40 children aged one and above — around 30% diagnosed with or suspected of having SEN — alongside a growing network of 100 SEN families.
Kriti Children’s Centre For Learning and Development (以下簡稱 「KCC」)。
